Maine Lake Survey Maps

Purpose

The inventory of Maine lakes has been designed to give you an understanding of the fish management program of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Much of the summarized account of each lake will be of additional value in planning fishing and camping trips. While we have purposely avoided tables, graphs and statistics, we want you to know that our recommendations are based on careful planning and study employing every available fishery management tool.

Management

A management program, recognizing the individuality of water areas, is suggested for each lake surveyed.
